A little about the Author...

I've been around drag racing since my later high school years.  I'm born and raised in North Mississippi and currently reside in Tupelo, MS.  I graduated at Mississippi State with a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and am currently pursuing a Masters Degree in Business Administration.  I hold position with Bell South Telecommunications as an Outside Plant Engineer.  Basically, I design the routing of the cable  from our central office to the customer.  

I enjoy the technical side of racing and I pretty much over analyze everything, but hey that's what I enjoy.  I've grown rather fond of the electronics and controls part of the car as you can see from the car stats I run a stand alone fuel injection along with a stand alone transmission controller.  Currently I'm playing with the closed loop boost controller with the Big Stuff 3 and I hope to rewire the car this winter.

I have a strong interest in metallurgy and controls, also I love but suck at painting and welding.  Basically, I enjoy working and learning new things about cars.  

Other interest, my girl and I are currently restoring  two duplexes in downtown Tupelo.  I enjoy relieving stress in the gym, drinking a few cold ones, grilling ribs on the smoker,  and goofing off with my Australian shepherd "Boudreaux".

Lagniappe Properties

On the side, Ellen and I manage a few rental properties.  We're currently renovating the blue duplex.  We've just acquired the four-plex below in October.  I foresee many headaches to come.  Maybe one day it'll pay off.
