I'm
getting out of the racing scene. It's been a blast, but I'm
out of "mojo", I just don't have the desire to work on
this puppy any more. I'll get me another one day but it'll be
an older classic to cruise in.
Feel
free to email me any questions. If you have any serious
inquiries I'll email my work number. When my I-phone arrives, I'll
give that number out. I'm a pretty straight forward guy and
have tons of references. Parts do not included shipping

I've ran this transmission since I've had everything in the car
stock. I started out with a TCI's TCU and now have swapped
over to a Lentech manual valve body with a transbrake early 2008. (valve
body alone is $900) This has been one hell of a transmission, but I'm sure it needs to
be freshened up. I've had the converter modified a few
times to get optimum performance for the turbo and tranny. |

Turbo Kit Details
I
bought this kit from a friend who won it as a door prize at a race
several years back in Texas. Kit was designed for a small
frame turbo with a 38 mm tial waste gate and was upgraded from the
factory to the 1000hp air to air intercooler. I modified
the cross over pipe to fit a larger waste gate(44mm JGS) which is
plumbed to the atmosphere. After running the kit for a year I
sold the precision 64E turbo (650hp rated) and bought a precision 78
GTS (1200hp rated). The turbo has very few passes on it and
alone is $1200 new.
This
kit does not require any cutting of the sheet metal, although it
does make it easier to work on if the side panel by the turbo is cut
out.

Sportsman Block Article
(347
cubic inches)
I
knew the previous owner, who had spun a main bearing, slightly
scarred cylinder walls. I had the crank turned .010.
Plans are to run a berry hone through the cylinder walls and freshen
up the bottom end.
My
plans was to scatter the factory short block and stick dude
in. But I got to admit, that stock short bock was tougher than
I expected.

Great
little heads. I kept blowing head gaskets with the stock
heads. So I bought some trickflow specialties. The pictures of
the heads and block are right when I took them off, no cleaning what
so ever. You can see that they fired correctly and ran fine,
not detonation on pistons. The graphite gaskets made a
mess. But I will be cleaning the heads this
weekend.

$2500 I
bought and installed the BS3 unit when first put the engine and
tranny in the the car 3 years ago. Since then, I've upgraded
the computer to DAE option, built in 2 step & 3 step, and added traction
control. The traction control is absolutely amazing. Between the
AMS-1000, the traction control. I can make this
car hook on gravel. This ECU alone will cost well over $3K
new.
Extra Sensors: Accelerometer, pressure
sensor, drive shaft sensor, IAC control motor with
billet adapter.

Complete Rolling Chassis $4,000
These
pictures were taken a year ago and I'll consider them great pictures
of the car. Don't expect any better than a 12 year old paint
job. Under the hood isn't as pretty b/c I've swapped engines a
couple of times.

*Southern
Car with no rust. The body on the car is not twisted, it's had
sub-frame connectors on the car since original owner.
*Original
red paint from factory. Except on the cowl hood
*
2.5" bolt on fiberglass Cervini cowl hood
*Car
still has "guts" under the dash, so it can be kept a
"street" car or converted in to full out race car.
*The
roll cage has the back bar cut out (behind the driver seat) and the
driver side door bar cut out. I'm 6'5" @ 220lbs and
riding in such a compact car was uncomfortable. The intent was
to put a "hoop" style bar across the back so I can lean
the seat back and to put a swing out bar in the place of the door
bar. Once these two bars are placed, the cage will certify to
an 8.50 with no problem.
*Seats
have normal tears from where the door bars on the cage rub the
lumbar support of the seat.
*Battery
kill switch installed that exit out the tag
*Aluminum
battery box
*
Torque boxes have been reinforced but not boxed in. They are
still in excellent shape.
